His journey forward is remembered by siblings Marcos Ramirez, Jr of Ventura, Ca Rosanna Juarez of Oxnard, California Dolores and Knorval Ivey of South Lake Tahoe California, and Griffin Hobson of South Lake Tahoe California. Nieces-Cheyanne Holland, Savannah Ramirez and nephews-Joel Gomez Jr. and Brandon Ramirez. He is also remembered by grandmother Nikki Diaz of Beatty, Oregon and Grandmother Gail Hobson of South Lake Tahoe Ca, Johnny aka “white boy” Daniel Ramirez was born in Visalia California and as a child his first impressions in this world, he entered it with a smile that comforted all who saw it. He loved being there for anyone in need. There wasn’t a moment when he turned away from someone who was less fortunate than him. In his last days it still stayed true. Johnny was a graduate of South Lake Tahoe, ca. After graduation he enlisted in the army and was tasked with Specialist Medic 2. He had a desire to make this a peaceful world. Two months after graduating, our country we went to war, and he was the first of many to fill the duties of an American Soldier. When Johnny returned from the army, he battled PTSD until he passed away.
Johnny was into boxing, loved listening to music and dancing like his Grandpa Marcelino, hanging out with the family, and gaming. Johnny loved his nieces and nephews so much and would always want to play ball with them. And he would make sure they always had concession stand money.
Johnny could light up a room with his smile. He was a quiet soul with lots of love to give. A simple man he was not flashy. He gave his life to serve this country and fought overseas. He made friends wherever he went and created bonds and connections with whomever he met. His laughter filled the room and helped to bring smiles to many. Johnny will truly be missed and loved by many. As he goes on to his next journey, we will cherish his memories and carry on his love for all. You will be missed but not forgotten and we love you dearly.
